I figured wind power option is a must,
in addition to human power. Gravity's a gimme,
the sun gives us wind ultimately, and perhaps
Gazoo will help us.
As for the artistic sculpture aspect, we're still
not decided, but are tossing around some ideas.
More on that later.
Here's some pix on what we've accomplished so far:
Here's a test run of the bare trike.
Two heavy pilots are sitting on the back,
while a light one steers the motorcycle
front end down a shallow grade. This was
a very satisfying milestone. Next we hope
to be able to sit and pedal power it.
Here's one of the rear wheels.
Irrigation wheels with fabricated
stub axles. This is the outside
of the wheel, and you can just make
out the bearing and it's cup.
Here's a close up of the wheel inside
bearing, the final drive gear, and the
stub axle.
Here's the a closer view of the front end.
A cut up junked motorcycle front end, bolted to the
the aluminum frame with a simple truss like structure.
Here's where we're playing w/ a seat concept.
Still more R&D to do, but it's taking shape.
Here's a shot giving a perspective on the
size and shape of the trike.
Well that's all for now folks.
More pix to come.
